What a festive treat….

Even with all this terrible weather, macrobert is open for business as usual despite the current weather conditions,  all shows and screenings are scheduled to take place. The roads on the university campus are cleared on a regular basis, but please check public transport schedules and road conditions prior to your travel. However, we don’t have the expertise to risk assess customer’s journey to macrobert, so please make sure to assess the weather situation ahead of your journey and give yourself plenty of time.

It is absolutely beautiful over here, just take a look at these photos! What’s even better is that you could stick on your wellies, come for a wee walk around the loch then join us at macrobert for a bowl of hot soup, a delicious hot chocolate and then see one of our three shows, Snow White of the Seven De’Wharffs is the panto this year, White is for the 0 -3 year olds and wait for it…. Mr Snow for the 3-5 year olds, what could be more appropriate than bringing the kids along, in the snow to meet Mr Snow who is a snowologist and looks at lots of different kinds of snow, from elephant snow and small snow to lightening snow and hot snow. It’s just so festive over this end so why not come and join us, make the most of the weather and be creative.

Take a look to the right and you will see our stream of images from flickr, you will find photos from all our Christmas performances, next season and other macrobert images, click on the images to the right which will take you to our account, feel free to leave comments and feedback!

See you soon and merry Christmas… 🙂 x

Come and see us at Dobbies…

For the past few years, macrobert’s young cast from the pantomime has been invited down to Dobbies to join the parade which takes Santa from his ride, through Dobbies and into his grotto…

Once again, our young cast will be joining the parade this Sunday, 21st November at Dobbies. Santa will be arriving at 11.30am and this year he will be turning up in a horse and carriage. Also at Dobbies will be a pipe band along with many other festive treats and will be sure to get even the Bah! Humbugs! out there into the Christmas spirit.

Why not come along, cheer Santa into his grotto, enjoy a Christmas carol or two and get a sneak peek of what characters to expect in this year’s panto Snow White of the Seven De’Wharffs?

Dobbies, Drip Road, Stirling.
