The girls are back in town…

Karaoke Queens

I have to admit I was a bit dubious when I heard they were making another Sex and the City. So many questions flooded my head. The main one being; ‘Where can the story go now?’

However, during the two and half hour runtime Michael Patrick King (the director) manages to complicate the four starring ladies lives just that little bit more. Taking them out of New York and sending them to Abu Dhabi, the girls face a string of mishaps. The majority of the events do seem slightly unrealistic and at times a bit exaggerated. However, it wouldn’t be the same if it wasn’t all done in high couture with cocktails nearby. Or should that be camels? Although it does have the usual dash of girl power and quick wit sprinkled through it which makes the film a very enjoyable watch.

Okay I’m guessing that the majority of the female population has already seen SATC2 . I’m even more willing to bet that everyone wouldn’t mind seeing it again though eh? Well you only have two more opportunities to come see it at the macrobert this month and that’s tonight and tomorrow! So don’t let Carrie and Co have all the fun in their Manolo’s without you. 1. Always been a massive supporter of Sex And The City. Fab film, thought that after such a gap it would be strange seeing our old friends again, but no as soon as the open credits kick in and you hear the familar voice over it’s like your four best friends have never been away.
