Double Bill

‘one of the best dance companies around’ The Stage

Performing two brand new works, SDT, Scotland’s National Contemporary Dance Company returns to macrobert. SDT’s work explores the human condition and what it is to be alive in the world today.

The Life and times of Girl A by Ben Duke is a piece about a woman trying to tell us something important about what is happening now.  What she needs is a film crew and a financier, what she’s got is a stage and some dancers.

NQR*, a three way collaboration by SDT Artistic Director, Janet Smith, Caroline Bowditch and Marc Brew, is a chance to look at and think differently about difference.

*Not Quite Right – Acronym formally used in medical records to describe unexplained difference.

Prepare to be moved and engaged by the power and skill of one of the UK’s most celebrated dance companies.

7-7.30pm
