Goodbye and Goodluck!

Today is sadly the last day for our Artistic director Liz Moran, who has been with us for 18 years (Since this humble blogger was only 4 years old – sorry Liz).

I think everyone who has had any involvement with macrobert will join me in wishing Liz all the very best for her future, and will wish her luck in everything she does.

Liz is leaving Stirling for sunny Spain, but she will leave enough Sunshine behind for all of us, with all the warm memories we all have of her! (I stole that from a leaving card I saw in a shop).

On a serious note, Liz will be missed but not forgotten (her picture is in the brochure till at least July!)  Although a new Artistic Director will soon be appointed at macrobert, the legacy of Liz Moran will live on in all our hearts (Cue the sad emotional music – this one is for you Liz!)

You were always a warm life force at macrobert! You were an especially calming and supportive person for a young actor to meet in one of their first professional roles.

I will alays remember and admire that of you. Macrobert has always had a warm family like atmosphere under your direction and even though you are going im sure you will leave some of that warmth behind!

Sending all my love and support across the water with you.

    Best Wishes

    Edward McGurn
