mPOWER Team

Imagine an arts festival organised by 12-17 year olds… Well look no further than the mPOWER project. Scotland’s most innovative and ambitious project for young people is preparing to do just that. Launched in July 2009 and with 100 young people already on board; the year long mPOWER project is offering a range of creative arts opportunities for young people aged 12-17 years to experience and gain practical experience of festival planning and production. Culminating with a festival in August 2010, the programme will feature a range of the finest international and Scottish acts in arts: all programmed and produced by young people themselves.
